I suffered a bracing dream
Where the angels argued over me.
“Condemn him! He failed in his aims
And does not fulfill his promises.”
“Can you hold back judgment?
He is doing what he can.”
And I realized
I would need to be in my seat
on Yom Kippur
To make sure the angels would be honest.
