Rose window

Rose window, bestowing wavelengths
Through the dark dulcet cavern overarching us

All stone and light, resolute center of a faithful craft
Holding court atop the sanctuary
Anchoring envoy windows all around the nave

flanked left by Christ blazed out from the slabs of deliverance flanked right by uncovered Adam Eve wailing thorns of exile        aspire        worthy        dexterity        blithe        steadfast        affirm        passion        crest        desire        insight        resilient        pulse

Rose window, deliver me the warmth of a caroling sun
Like wings cycling through a disoriented millennium
